I got up this morning thinking I would try a HIIT seesion on the treadmill, but I guess it's too soon after the marathon. My legs were NOT wanting to go! So I did a warm-up run for 15 minutes, increasing in tempo from 5.0 MPH to 8.0 MPH, then I walked for a minute, and then did a short interval starting at 6.5 MPH and increasing to 9.5 MPH. Then I jogged for a minute to cool down. I ended up doing 2.33 miles in 21:00. I may have done more, but I ran out of time, and had to be at bootcamp.
So for bootcamp this morning, Stephany taught plyometrics. I was trying not to do too much, but I think I still did, anyway. My body is really tired. Stupid recovery!!! How long is this going to take?!? :D |
